 "Huge Boots!" 2009-07-13
By Naija
The boots are the best real winter boots I've had in a long time. I knew they would be good because the base is waterproof and the frame is wide (a little toooo wide). They definitely run big! But other then that I won't have to buy another pair for a while. Got many compliments on them.

 "Warm and Cute" 2009-07-01
By Brie Gauthier
These boots are super-warm and cute. However, you should be aware that these are not really a replacement for Uggs or similar lighter duty boots. Growing up in northern MN we wore Sorel boots every day in the winter and they never failed to keep us warm, even when the temp was -20. So, don't plan on wearing these to the mall, you won't like it. But, if you want cute boots for playing in the snow...these are for you. BTW, the larger than average sizing is normal for Sorel, you are meant to wear one or two heavy pairs of socks inside them.

"Why wait 'till winter to buy these?" 2009-05-28
By Karen Truax (nor-cal gal)
That's my first bit of advice. It's very difficult to find these on sale, especially during winter. For those with wide feet: No need to order a size up---plus, there's still room for the thick socks. Bottom line: Length is accurate to U.S. standards, and width accommodates even wide feet, because allowance just above the foot accommodates. Very sturdy, yet satisfying to fashionistas who prefer to keep their feet snuggly.

I have recieved many compliments on these boots. Very stylish and warm, was a great necessity, in the cold New England snow storm.

 "Wrong Fit" 2009-02-15
By sherbobbi (NYC)
I didn't buy this book in the end because the boot was too wide. My foot is 6M, normal width. I put a wool sock on, but my foot was still swimming. I'm still looking for a warm boot to hike in the snow with and still maneuver through the city streets. So far, the Ugg boot that is long and the North Face hiking boots are my best fit.
